Several years ago, I was invited by Eric Warren to play/record drums on one song for his as-yet-unspecified solo project. It was a fun session, as far as recording (which I always dread) goes. I met nice guys like Craig Roy & Roberto (NewFi). I later discovered the track was released on an album under the name The Len Brown Society being Eric's old band in Long Beach, of which I was never a member.
The engineer asked us what the name of the song was ere hitting the record button. To this, Eric replied, "Talk to Bob." Put on the spot to immediately conjure a title for the song, I said, "Yeah, that's the name of the song: Talk to Bob."
The Len Brown Society now has a MySpace page, so if you'd like to hear the song, go here, and you'll find it in the music player on the page. The drums are mixed fairly low, and my snare was tuned an annoying bit high, making the Bill Bruford influence painfully obvious. It's a nice little tune, and we all had fun playing it.
You can buy the album by clicking the link below (under "Currently Listening:"). I did it for fun, with no royalty contracts or anything, but...enjoy!
Ah, I see someone's selling it for 45 cents, used/in good condition!
