"It is an exit door from a scary carnival train ride painted by Roger Vinney (where and when unknown, but obviously after 1969!) I found the photo in a book called Fairground Art by Geoff Weedon and Richard Ward (Abbeville Press/White Mouse Editions, 1981, p. 258)" writes Bob.
